Digital Tarot Apps are as Effective as Physical Decks

 When I first heard of tarot apps - digital versions of cartomancy decks - I asked the question that every tarot reader would ask.

Are digital tarot apps as effective for readings, as physical decks?

Is it a real reading when you can’t even hold the cards in your hands?

How will the tarot app even sense our energy?

When I started practising tarot, I used to believe that it was the cards that held magic.

But over time, I’ve realised that the magic is in me. The magic is me.

And whether I use a physical deck of cards, tea leaves, stones, cloud, water or a digital app; the answers will be accurate always; because I am the one channelling the messages from my gods.

Today in particular, I found how absolutely and wonderfully accurate my digital app actually is.

I have guests over and as you can imagine, hosting someone can be stressful. And I really needed a message to help me start the day revitalised.

I pulled out my phone and opened the Wildwood Tarot app. And just before I pressed the “Draw a Card” button, I asked out loud - “please give me a message to feel good and empowered”.

And then, a press of the button, and out popped this card -

While the upright card represents the warmth and joy of being around family and friends; the reversed card reminded me that its okay to not put so much stress on myself as I host my visitors.

I have the right to say no if some expectation from me feels too stressful or undoable. I also have to remember to take care of myself and bask in some alone time to recharge, whenever I can.

As someone who doesn’t do too well in crowds for extended periods of time, such getaways for a few moments, can be incredibly cathartic.

This was just the message I needed to hear today. And I feel loads better already.

And it isn’t the first time that my digital tarot apps have given me much needed advice. My other app - the Dark Goddess Tarot app - is just as incredibly powerful and accurate.

Not only is it sufficiently confidential, but its also very budget friendly and most importantly, just as effective and accurate as any physical deck that you may want to buy or which you already have.
